Telling stories through movement

Arianna Luong is a dancer, performer, choreographer, model, and artist born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where she continues to reside. With over 10 years of dance experience, she is recognized for her dynamic presence and ability to tell compelling stories through movement. She brings a distinctive combination of artistry, passion, and authenticity to every project she takes on, both on stage and on screen.

Arianna began dancing at the age of 5, taking recreational classes at Contempo School of Dance in tap, ballet, and jazz. There, she discovered her passion for movement and artistic expression, inspiring her to audition for a competitive team. She went on to find her artistic home with Victoria’s School of Dance, where she trained and performed full-time while exploring an extensive range of styles, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, jazz funk, musical theater, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and ballroom. Today, she assists her studio director in developing memorable solo pieces for younger dancers, encouraging the next generation to discover their own purpose, individuality, and artistic voice.

Throughout her early career, Arianna has performed across Florida at regional and national competitions, receiving recognition and scholarship awards at conventions including REVEL, National Dance Honors, NUVO, and many more. One of her most notable accomplishments was auditioning for college scholarships at REVEL’s National Finals, where she was awarded full-ride scholarships from Sam Houston State University and Brenau University.

Arianna’s artistry extends beyond the stage. She has participated in numerous summer intensives and workshops, including NYCDA’s Pre-Professional summer intensive, where she trained with renowned choreographers such as Joe Lanteri, Suzi Taylor, and Andy Pellick. She also attended CLI Conservatory’s summer intensive, where she was invited to perform in the music video “Switch,” directed and choreographed by the legendary DJ Smart.

As she continues to develop her career, Arianna trains under mentor Menina Fortunato through The Business of Dance, where she is gaining a deeper understanding of the professional and entrepreneurial sides of the industry. Through this mentorship, she has built connections with world-renowned professionals including German E. Morales, Jeff Thacker, Julian Mireles, and Alison Stroming. Their expertise and guidance continue to shape her growth as both an artist and a creative entrepreneur.

As an emerging educator, Arianna’s teaching philosophy is rooted in individuality. She strives to cultivate a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers from all backgrounds feel empowered to explore, take risks, and express themselves authentically. She believes every dancer carries a unique story and perspective worth sharing with the world. Through her compassion and creativity, she strives to make a meaningful impact, guiding her students and fellow teammates to develop not only as performers, but also as individuals.

For Arianna, dance is more than movement — it is emotion, communication, art, and therapy. Through choreography, performance, and teaching, she seeks to move and inspire others while reminding them of dance’s ability to create connections, tell stories, and bring people together.
